This is disheartening that some top echelon of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nigeria are asking Nigerians to give the party a second chance for the party to be voted into power in 2023 election.
Those clamouring for the return of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into the leadership at the centre in 2023 after the party failed the nation in its 16 years of leadership are not progressives.
It is only a foolish Nigerian who will vote for PDP again after disappointing the citizens of the country and failing to provide basic infrastructural development.
During the Peoples Democratic Party leadership, insecurity was one of the major issues the administrations were unable to address. The situation was such that Boko Haram operated with impunity and there were gross financial recklessness in all sectors of the government.
A leadership that covered the N16b fraud in the power sector. The PDP power brokers diverted N16b meant for the power sector into their personal pockets under the Olusegun Obasanjo PDP led administration.
Nigerians should beware of these hawks from the PDP calling for another opportunity to rule the country with all their political gimmicks to win the hearts of the people.
In 2023 general elections, Nigerians should endeavour to vote for people with vision, focus and integrity that have the country’s progress at heart. The PDP and APC cannot be relied upon to give us good governance. Presently, the APC which breeds, encourages and accept criminalities has turned Nigeria into disaster. The party has joined the PDP to bring shame and misery to the country.
