One of the premier colleges in Nigeria, St Patrick’s College, Asaba, Delta State, has elected a new National Executive Committee to run the affair of the Old Boys Association for a two year office tenure.
Barrister Anthony Odiadi from Lagos branch, emerged as the National President with 39 votes, while Colonel Tajudeen Bakare (rtd) from Lagos branch, won the position of the Secretary with 38 votes.
Others that emerged were ,Assistant National General Secretary, Mr Uche James Okidegbe from Asaba branch,with 40 votes,Publicity/Social Secretary, Engineer Patrick Unokiwedi from Abuja ,40 votes, National Treasurer,Collins Meninwa fromPort Harcourt 30 votes, National Legal Adviser, Barrister Chris Anokam from Benin branch 40 votes, National Financial Secretary, Mr Francis Chukwuedo from Benin 40 votes.
The Old Boys of the college had been without a National Executive Committee for sometime. With this election the vacuum in the office has been filled.
