The committee, on November 11, began an oversight tour of its agencies’ headquarters in Abuja, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU), and Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), to review pre-budget preparations.

During the visit to the EFCC, the commission’s chairman, Ola Olukoyede, expressed appreciation for the Committee’s support and urged members to consider the agency’s recent performance when evaluating future budgets.
