Honourable Sir JOSEPH IJEH Elected New Oshimili North PDP Chairman

People’s Democratic Party,PDP, Oshimili North Local Government Area, has elected a former councillor and leader of the house, Honourable Sir Joseph Ijeh, as their new party Chairman in during their recently conducted congress to pilot the affairs of the party with other newly elected executive members.

This was preceded by a motion moved for the dissolution of the Party by Hon. Austin Okonji and Seconded by Hon. Emeka Okeleke as adopted by Party Members.
In his acceptance speech, the elected Chairman, expressed his appreciation to the Party members, ensuring total wins for the Party in subsequent elections in the Local Government Area.
The Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Council, Hon Innocent Esewezie admonished the Party members whom advised to synergize and be convinced that it is Politics with Policy, determination with direction, hence he was ready to work with the newly elected Party Executives to ensuring collaboration and victory for the Party in the 2027, general election.
The Commissioner for Women and Social Development, Princess Pat Ajudua, further advised the new Party Executive members to exhaust their abilities with trust and commitments with visionary leadership while believing in them for Success.ln conclusion she expressed her congratulation to the Executive members .
Despite the disgraceful performance exhibited by some top echelon of the Party, the Congress was confirmed to be peaceful.
In the Congress attendance were some top members of the Party from the Local Government Area, the former Secretary to the State Government and presently the Director General of the Delta State Capital Development Agency, Chief Patrick Ukah, the former Provost of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi Uku, Professor Andy Egwunyenga, Dr. Austin Obidi, Barr. Kate Onianwa, Chief Shimite, Mr. Olise Ifeajika, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwaezigwe, Chief Tony Ogbo, amongst Others.
