Former House of Reps Member Faces Humiliation

Former Commissioner for Water Resources and House of Representatives member, who represented Okpe/Sapele/ Uvwie constituency on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party between 2011 to 2019, Evelyn Oboro was given disgrace of her life in the public for voting against the governor, Rt(Hon) Sheriff Oborevwori.
She was humiliated when she visited the governor after the election and was told to her face that she had worked against the victory of the governor.
According to information available to ZN, Oboro was told that the leadership of the State will not like to set it eyes on her again as long as she participated in working against the Victory of the party at the governorship election in the State.
It was learnt that when she discovered that the party had lost to the All Progressive Party in the National Assembly elections in her Constituency, she decided to work against her party believing that APC will claim the governorship seat of the state.
Oboro who hails from Uvwie Local Government Area of the State, is seriously regretting her actions in the March 18, 2023 governorship election.
It was gathered that in 2011, she was elected to represent Okpe/Sapele/ Uvwie Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives and was re-elected in 2015.
Also, she contested for the House of Senate for Delta Central Senatorial District but failed to achieve her dream.
Checks have revealed that Oboro was a student of Alebo Secondary School Effurun in 1988, a graduated of Delta State University, Master degree holder in Business Administration and a degree in law.
With the current challenges facing Evelyn Oboro, her followers have started to shift from her camp for a better camp that is productive that will put foods on their table.
