* Nwaoboshi Begs Okowa, Sheriff For Reintegration In PDP.
The People’s Democratic Party, Delta State, is now smiling and happy as it sees its rival party the All Progressive Party in the the State collapsing.
The members of the APC including those who left PDP to join APC during the 2023 general election are moving in drone rejoining the PDP.
During the 2023 general election a lot of members of PDP who had no electoral values including Peter Nwaoboshi left the party for the APC in Delta State. After APC’s dismal failure in the election, because the party was woefully defeated by the PDP, these persons and other APC members have started working back there ways back to the PDP.
It’s in the history of that State that no party had ever received the type of disgraceful defeat APC received from PDP in the 2023 election. The defeat was so devastated that there was no word to qualify it.
With this development Delta State, has become a One Party State. There is no doubt to say that the PDP is absolutely in control of the State.
Meanwhile, sources close to the Delta State government have confirmed to ZN that a former Senator, that represented the Delta North Senatorial District, Peter Nwaoboshi, who shamefully defeated by Senator Ned Nwoko, in the 2023, is secretly moves to fence with the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the incumbent, Sheriff Oborevwori and Ned Nwoko, to give him a soft landing in PDP.
According to the sources, several meetings have held. And Nwaoboshi, had been at the begging end pleading for forgiveness.
It could be recalled that Nwaoboshi, left as a PDP Senator to APC. The sources claimed that he left the party because Ifeanyi Okowa , who was the Governor then, refused to pay him for the contract he (Nwaoboshi), executed, which ran into hundreds of million naira.
Secondly the sources said that Nwaoboshi, also claimed that Ifeanyi Okowa, was supporting Ned Nwoko against him during their Senatorial court cases of the 2019 election.
Now that the chips are down Nwaoboshi has no other option than to bow to Okowa, Sheriff and Ned, apart from God, that can decide his future.
Nwaoboshi, lost out of political favor in the APC not because he lost election but because of his usual double standard.
When the Presidential primary was hitting up, Nwaoboshi, was secretly supporting the deposed CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, who earlier signified interest in the Presidential position, whom he collected collected more than one hundred million dollars (US$100,000,000), from, and later dumped him for the then Senate President, Ahmed Lawan.
However, while he was playing the political fast dirty game, he didn’t know that President Ahmed Tinubu, who was also interested in the Presidential race was getting the situation report on him.
The die was cast when Tinubu won, Peter Nwaoboshi ‘s name was not reckon with as a supporter. As such his name was not included in any political appointment.
In another development, those who earlier claimed to be Nwaboshi ‘s supporters have told ZN that nothing will ever bring them again closer together with Nwaoboshi whether in political circle or otherwise. They claimed that he was a callous human being. And stated that since after the 2023 election that he has been evasive neither has he cared to see or asked of them. They stated that he doesn’t pick their phone calls either.
Speaking further they said that, decamping with him from PDP to APC was regrettable.
