A clarion call had been made by Sir Prince Nwandu Augustine and Mr Nwani Chris, to all sons and daughters of Delta North ,including non indigenes living in the senatorial district to support and rally round to see that Anioma was created.
Speaking to ZN they appealed to the aforementioned to promote and support the relentless efforts and campaign by the member representing the Delta North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Munir Nwoko, towards the Anioma State creation.
They stated that the creation of the Anioma State was undoubtedly for increased economic and sociology political benefits and advantages for all Anioma sons and daughters living within and outside the district area,including non Anioma people residing in the area as well for the benefits of Delta State and Nigeria in general.
According to them, Anioma State when created will be more of an integrated mono communal entity of the same traditional and cultural heritage comprising the same languages, religions, festivals, mode of dressings, dances etc.
Furthermore, Anioma State when created with its own House of Assembly, more Federal Constituencies,for elected members of the House of Representatives, more Senatorial Districts for more elected members of the Senate, Anioma State Governor and Government House, more Commissioners, more Boards, more Parastatals ,more Ministries, more Local Governments etc.
All together, the new Anioma State, there will be job creations and opportunities abound in all spheres of endeavour, increased grassroots participations in politics.
