DELTA CIVIL LIBERTIES ORGNIZATION STINGS OHANAEZE NDIGBO AGAIN, WARNS GOV SHERIFF
The Ohanaeze Ndigbo, is a polarized and partisan organization that has lost focus and direction, said a Human Rights Organization, the Civil Liberties Organization(CLO), Delta State branch.
The Human Rights Organization, stated that Ohanaeze Ndigbo, which has led the lgbos astray because of its corrupt nature should hide its faceless face in shame because of the damage it has done the lgbo nation.
One expected that by now the President General, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu, would have occupied himself to finding solutions to the corrupt activities of the Organization instead of coming to the public on behalf of the Organization to advise the Igbos not to join the nationwide protest by Nigerians due to the bad leadership of the country. Iwuanyawu should had spoken on behalf of himself not on behalf of Ohanaeze Ndigbo whose name has been rubbished in the mud. By main mentioning of the names “Ohanaeze Ndigbo” majority of notable Igbo sons and daughters will not take him serious.
Although Iwuanyawu, might not be blamed for his action because he took over the rotten helm of affairs from late Professor Obiazor, without knowing the extent of damage the corrupt executive members of the Organization from the parent body, women wing and youth wing have done to Organization.
The Human Rights Organization advised Iwuanyawu, to occupy himself now with the restructuring of Ohanaeze Ndigbo to enable it regain its pride as the mouthpiece of the Igbo nation.
The Civil Liberties Organization furthermore said that part of the major problems the Igbo nation is facing today were caused self centredness of their leaders and Ohanaeze Ndigbo, because they preferred personal benefits to general benefits.
Meanwhile, the Human Rights Organization has called on the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, to jettison the idea of relocating the said higher institution to Orerekpe, for peace to reign. Unless the Governor wants more trouble more than what he is envisaging now. What brought the idea of the relocation of the institution should be nipped in the bud.
The Organization advised the Governor to face true governance and live polical governance that will destroy his image.

In another development the Organization stated that the Senate President, Goodwill Akpabio, was wicked, bad and evil to had said that the protest by Nigerians because of the bad leadership of President Ahmed Tinubu’s APC led administration and current hardship in Nigeria was sponsored by opposition.
The Rights Organization queried Akpabio, whether it was wrong for someone in pain to express how he or she was feeling?
Concerning the statement made by the son of the President, Seyi Tinubu, that Nigerians should bear the pain of the current hardship. The Organization said that a child being carried on the back while embarking on a journey didn’t know that such a journey is difficult.
Seyi should know that he does not feel the pain of Nigerians because he is presently being taking care of, with the resources of the nation.
