A Federal High Court sitting in Asaba, under the Lordship of justice, Olubanjo, has discharged and acquitted former Provost, Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba, and Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor,Dr Ignatius Nwanze Ezoem.
In charge No:FHC/ASB/44C/2020,FRN vs DR Ezoem Nwanze Ignatius and ANOR, was arraigned by Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), for a case of corruption and conspiracy, following a petition written by one Ameh Joseph, former staff of the college.
The judge in her judgement, disclosed that the prosecution was unable to prove his case beyond reasonable doubt and lacks evidence to convince the on the matter. Detail coming soon.
