A party built on lies, criminality and dominated by marauders, irresponsible creatures, murderers and fools, will never lead a nation to success. That is all what APC is about. The extension of the product are those controlling the structures of the party in all the States in Nigeria.
Those members from Delta Central complaining of plans by some cartels of the party trying to bring in tribalism in the party have no locus to blow hot now because they were involved in turning the Party in Delta State into Urhobo Party. They are now capitalizing on the current division among them caused by sharing formula or otherwise to now try to project themselves as Saints that want equity to be exhibited in the party.
The N10 billion allegedly released by President Tinubu to Delta APC for the 2023 Governorship election, who has it? And why has it not been probed?
They should be asked where were they during the 2023 general election and party primary when the party handpicked the governorship candidate an Urhoboman, State Party Chairman an Urhoboman and other juices positions in the party occupied by Urhobo indigenes. They did not end their, but extended the evil to other Senatorial Districts of the State, installing those of their tribal families as candidates for the general election. The campaign structures of the party were of Urhobo affairs.
It is a known fact and for equity, that, when a zone produced a Gubernatorial candidate, the other should produce the State Party Chairman. It is not right and fair for same zone to produce the positions.
But because of the bad intentions of the Party players that hijacked the Party, the Party was disgraced and shamefully defeated at the elections. Same thing will still befall the Party in the State come 2027 general election.
Same players are still make every effort to see that they are allowed to continue to perpetuate tribalism under the pretence that they are fighting tribalism in the Party.
It cannot be denied that APC in Delta State is not an all-Urhobo Party. It is a party built on ethnicity. Those crying fowl, is it now they know there is a constitution of the Party and it must be respected?
The State Deputy Chairman, Barr. Obigor from Delta North, who thought they are fighting a genuine battle as stipulated by the constitution and doing him a favour should be careful or else he would be a sacrificial lamb. He should also know that by the constitution he was not supposed to be the Deputy Chairman. Anyone going for equity should go with clean hands.
What is expected to be done now is a probe of the financial misappropriation of the Party’s State funds and over N10 billion released by the President to Delta State APC, for the 2023 Governorship election.
