Ben lion heart has joined ranks with those pleading with Youths and organizers of @endbadgovernance#. He pleaded with the Youths and organizers that their voices have been heard and believes that statements have been made clear and loud enough for the President and the ruling party including the political class and leaders in Nigeria to have a rethink in their present actions. Every action attracts a reaction. The points raised are salient and needs to be urgently looked into. It is true that Cost of governance is too high as well as the cost of living. He is of the opinion that capacity should be the yardstick for appointment. Round sticks in square holes appointments abound so much in the present government that some appointment holders should be dropped and better hands should be sourced for their replacement. It is obvious that some appointment holders CANNOT positively impact on the system. Thus an overhaul is necessary to bring succour and dividends of democracy to Nigerian.
Though President Bola Tinubu is grounded in governance, however he needs men who will help him actualize the RENEWED HOPE agenda. It is obvious that most appointments were politically motivated thus sidelined capacity, professionalism and dedication to the betterment of Nigeria.
The People’s General pleaded with the Governors to think out of the box and institute development mental projects that will keep the Youths busy. Sports , Technology and mechanized farming if properly harnessed will help the Youths as well as develop the states faster thus limiting rushing to cities for white collar and menial jobs.
We tend to undermine the power of sports in Nigeria these days. As a Sportsman and professional I advice that the state government should invest in sports to keep the Youths busy as well as being out the best in them. Sports is a futurist investment for Youths. Government should unite this nation through Sports now more than BEFORE. He condemned the songs of tribalism being sang in Lagos on Ibo MUST Go. That is not the Nigeria we stand for in the military. We must kill tribalism and corruption if we want to truly Reclaim Nigeria. We need a NIGERIA where the son of a nobody can be somebody without a push. We want a NIGERIA where the son of a nobody can work in NNPC, Central Bank, FIRS and the likes. That is the way to reset Nigeria.
He opined that Security of life should be given priority more than before. There is nothing wrong in rejigging the Security Architecture of Nigeria now. There is nothing wrong in declaring a state of emergency on security in order to put an end to the wanton destruction of lives and property in Nigeria. I don’t know who Nigeria wants to PLEASE by dancing to World Human Right Watch that The State of Isreal does not harken to on the war in Gaza. Nigeria needs to take decisive action on security which is one major reason for food insecurity. Enough of playing games with the lifes of soldiers and farmers. Our soldiers are over stressed, over used and over stretched because of being in too many places at the same time.
