The Association of Ibusa Professionals under the headship of Barrister Mrs Idigbe, in collaboration with Ibusa Association USA Incorporated, recently empowered a breast cancer patient, Mrs Agatha Obiorah with the sum of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Naira (N1,200,000) to support her medical treatment. The cheque was presented by the Head of Health Committee of the Association, the Okwesilieze of Ibusa Kingdom, Chief Mrs Florence Izagbo.
Presenting the cheque with some members of the association , she encouraged the cured cancer patient to always rely on God, that with God everything is possible. She stressed that what the association has done was because God’s hands were behind it. And the healing she (Mrs Obiorah) got was because God was behind it.
In response, the patient appreciated the good gesture of the association and prayed for the members as well as for the progress and sustainability of the association.
It could be recalled that during one of the free yearly medical programs of the association, Mrs Obiorah, was diagnosed and breast cancer was dictated. Based on this development, she was sent for medical treatment by the association.
This is not the first time the association has assisted patients. They assist patients of various ailments and organize free yearly medical program in Ibusa, including performing of minor surgeries, while ailments that require major attentions are referred to the appropriate madical establishments . The program is not meant for only Ibusa natives, but for Nigerians that can make themselves available during the program.
