The son of the former Managing Director of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Commission (DESO PADEC), Samuel Askia Ogieh (Jnr) allegedly deceived the House of Senate Candidate on the platform of PDP in the 2023 general election, Michael Diden to collect millions of naira from him.
Ogieh (Jnr) who confronted Ejele informing him (Ejele) of his capability of linking him to the youth in Isoko South Local Government Area that will work and support his Senatorial election.
Michael Diden who foolishly believed in Askia Ogieh (Jnr), released millions of naira to him to enable him organize the youths to support his Senatorial election.
It was when Diden failed to achieve his Senatorial dream, he realized he was deceived by Askia Ogieh (Jnr)
Diden who was not happy with the attitude displayed by the son of the former DESOPADEC Managing Director, publicly voiced out with anger what had transpired between him and Askia Ogieh’s son.
Askia Ogieh has been using his son in diverting funds appropriated for the Isoko youths without due process.
Also learnt was that the father was accused of diverting funds channelled to him during the 2023 general election for the Isoko South and North Local Government Areas.
It was gathered that the money was not use for the purpose it was meant for.This singular act of the former Managing Director of DESOPADEC, provoked the leadership of party at the state.
There are agitations from different quarters to stop Ogieh for any political appointment narrowing towards him.
It was also learnt that during his days as Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Council nothing meaningful was done apart from fradulent activities orchestrated by him.
