Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, recently, highlighted the progress achieved in maintaining peace and order despite economic hardship. He further emphasized the position of the state government in upholding transparency, accountability and ensuring financial discipline.
He made this known at the 1st Anniversary thanksgiving service of the 8th Delta State House of Assembly, held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Asaba. He highlighted the state’s achievements in infrastructural and human capital development without incurring debt.
Governor Oborevwori credited divine faithfulness for the state’s stability and urged Assembly members to continue serving with integrity. He applauded the cooperation between the Executive and Legislative branches, with a promise to emulate positive practices for the benefit of Delta State.
