It is only when you are well prepared and have the materials that one can defeat the opponent at war.
With the present structure of APC in Delta State, it is clear that the party has not gotten what it takes to defeat PDP in subsequent elections.
ZN garnered that, for more than one year the party has not called for a meeting in the State Secretariat, the local or ward levels.
Since after the 2023 woeful defeat of the party by the PDP, the party which was turned right from its inception a personal and ethnic Urhobo party has been paralyzed and moribund. The defeat by PDP was so devastated that more half of the party members have no other options than cross carpeting to PDP.
Not that PDP is much better than APC that is built without coordination on criminality, lies backbiting and tribalism,but in this period of political deceit and stomach infrastructures, politicians because they have no shame would prefer to align with PDP.
APC had the opportunity of winning the 2023 election in the State but lost it because the party lacked sincerity of purpose, coordination and at the same time presented unsaleable candidates that could not reckon with PDP candidates.
The factionalism and sectionalism of APC are also contributing to the dearth of the party.
For the party to have a face, hope and future in Delta State, lt must be jettisoned from tribalism, completely be restructured and the party’s leadership from State to Ward levels dissolved, while new executives elected.
