Dear Mr President Ahmed Tinubu, this is my third letter to you as a stakeholder and concerned citizen of Nigeria. Those in your political arena will always decide not to tell you the truth because of their stomach infrastructural benefits. But people like us will continue to reveal the truth no matter the concerned entity. I am not seeking for relevance or political appointment because no responsible creature with integrity will like to associate or serve in APC and PDP governments that have destroyed Nigeria with their criminal leadership style. It is the province of knowledge to speak admit and it is the privilege of wisdom to listen. One of the truest test of integrity is its blunt refusal to compromise. All labour that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance, and should be undertaken with painstakingly excellence. It is over seventy five days that your government came to power, which Nigerians thought you have what it takes to turn around the bad situation the country has found herself because of the criminal leadership of APC and PDP.
However, Mr President, all indications have shown that you have nothing to offer rather than to impoverish the poor masses the more with your undirectional policies that are being put in place to empower the criminality of your intention and intentions of your cliques that are corruptly and wickedly holding the country hostage.
Mr President, the poor masses thought you were hope for every Nigerian, but it is now crystal clear that you are hope for the big time system criminals. It is a shame that at the level of your life and age when it was necessary for you to repent from evil ways to enable you make heaven you have considered criminality the best way of life for Nigerians. How can it be said that a man that was boasting to fight corruption is now appointing the corrupt who assisted in destroying Nigeria into public offices.
How can it be said that out of about Forty – Six Ministers Forty of them have criminal cases. It is a matter for regret. For instance, Mr President, your Budget and Economic Minister, Abubakkar Bagudu, was a known close associate of late President Sani Abacha. It is on record that he was arrested and extradited from Houston, Texas, at the request of Jersey, where he set up a shell company named Doraville Properties to launder funds stolen from our country, Nigeria. He eventually reached an agreement to refund the sum of One Hundred and Sixty Million dollars of stolen money in exchange for deportation to Nigeria to face trial.
With the available evidence from the Legal Authorities in the United States, Jersey and Switzerland, Bagudu was never questioned after coming back to Nigeria . It was also on record that the United States Department of Justice in 2014, announced the repatriation of Four Hundred and Eighty Million dollars stolen by Abacha and his co-conspirators. The United States government alleged that Sani Abacha, the son, Mohammed Abacha , their associate, Abubakkar Bagudu and others embezzled, misappropriated and extorted billions of dollars from the Nigerian government and others, then laundered their criminal proceeds through the United States financial institutions and the purchase of bonds backed by the United States. Also on record that in February 2020,the United States government entered into a trilateral agreement with Nigeria and Jersey to repatriate Three Hundred Million dollars in additional money that Bagudu played a role in stealing during the Abacha’s regime. Furthermore the United States announced that it was continuing to seek forfeiture of over One Hundred and Seventy Million dollars in additional laundered funds held in trusts that mentioned Bagudu and his relatives as beneficiaries.
It is a known fact that Bagudu was one of the Nigerians revealed by Pandora Papers in 2021,hiding fraudulent money in offshore shell companies.
