MAJORITY of All Government Appointees managing Government Agencies and Parastatals don’t obey the very Act/Law that created them.
A very typical example is the NDDC. The Niger Delta Development Commission, where trillions have been wasted developing private pockets and interests.
The Niger Delta is a major farming region and Agriculture is a major developing tool for Rural Nigeria.
What has been the impact of NDDC on Rural Niger Delta particularly on Palm Oil, Cassava, Rice, Fishery Livestock, Yam, Poultry etc? Almost Zero.
The Leaders of the Niger Delta are all guilty of the criminality and looting of the Niger Delta Resources via NDDC, the Ministry of the Niger Delta, 13% Derivation, the Amnesty Programs and so many Intervention Programs Government have enacted to help the citizens.
These people are the enemies of the Region not Abuja! Our failure as a Region is our fault as Niger Deltans.
Niger Deltans should look at Lagos and the impact of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on developing the Modern Lagos and CRY about our leaders particularly those who have led Agencies like the NDDC, NIMASA, Ministry of Niger Delta, NNPC for decades.
