Over appointments, desperate politicians in Delta State seeking for appointments have gone into ritual sacrifices to achieve their Political ambitions.
The politicians have taken the bull by the horns to see that their quests for political positions are achieved by visiting spiritual and native doctors homes.
Ritual Sacrifices are seen littered in all nooks and crannies of the State by these politicians based on the directives of the spiritualists and native doctors for their own selfish Political gains.
A notable politician in the state, from the Urhobo extractions was sighted carrying out sacrifices at odd hour in Anwai River, Oshimili South Local Government Area of Delta State with a black cow and making incantations with white chalk, dry gin, cowries, white and red clothes.
The politicians who was caught in the ritual act, was holding a position in the immediate past administration in the state.
It was gathered that the purpose for the ritual sacrifices to the river goddess, was for him to secure an appointment in this present administration in the state.
Most of the politicians scheming for political appointments, believe that the only option for getting appointments, is to be involved in ritual sacrifices.
The primary aim of applying the ritual Sacrifices is to deface those in authority to see favour in their side.
It is important to note that political authors in the State jostling for appointments no longer fear God, innocent Nigerians have lost their lives in the hands of political ritualists.
In the past, appointments were on merits, competence and ability but today, charms and sacrifices have become the order of the day in the political system of the country to grab power by all cost.
Meanwhile, Female Politicians scheming for appointments that cannot partake in ritual sacrifices, have resulted in sleeping with some big wigs in the party that will influence appointments for them.
The heavyweights, see it as an opportunity to use them as sexing machines on daily basis, without any monetary inducement attached to it.
Also, married women and divorces are involved in this act, making some persons see politics in Nigeria as ungodly and dirty game.
