A Pan Ethnic, Social Cultural and Non Partisan Group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Delta State Chapter, under the leadership of Mr Ndudi Sylvester, has come out boldly to congratulate the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Sheriff Oborevweri, for his deserved victory in the Just concluded 2023 governorship election and his recent inauguration in office as the Executive Governor of the State. The group in their felicitation said that there was no other person more qualified than Sheriff to rule the State at this material time that the State required positive repositioning. However the group which is the apex body of the Delta North lgbo speaking people including all the lgbo speaking people from across the River Niger residing in the State appealed to the newly sworn in Governor to carry them along in his administration. They stated that the group was ready to cooperate with the governor. The group prayed to God to guide him. However, rising from an emergency meeting held in Asaba the Delta State Capital, which the State Vice President, Mr Ojodume Emile, the State Secretary, Mr Ben Igumbor, the State Women Leader and other State Officers were present, the group agreed that in no due course it will pay a visit to the Governor.
