The Legacy Group of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), under the leadership of Chief Dan Orbih, National Vice Chairman, South-South, extended commendation to Sen. Monday Okpebholo, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for his collaborative efforts with the federal government in commencing rehabilitation work on the Benin-Auchi-Okenne road.
The group also challenged Obaseki to show what he has done for the people of Edo State in his tenure as the Governor.
However, they made it clear that their support in the upcoming governorship election would be contingent upon Governor Godwin Obaseki’s demonstrated commitment to the welfare of the people and the state.
Expressing their grievances during a meeting in Irrua, Esan Central local government area, Orbih highlighted their sense of neglect by the Obaseki’s administration, despite their pivotal role in securing his re-election in 2020. The sentiment echoed in similar meetings held in Edo South and Edo North
