Ned Nwoko, who is well known both home and abroad has in no doubt become a Pan- Nigerian Senator who has not restricted himself to just representing his own Senatorial district.

He has demonstrated this predilection for total Nigerian thrust by his motions and bills which at the last count registered as many as 12 motions for the whole of Nigeria and 17 bills dealing with Nigeria,s socio-economic and political challenges .

In the year 2000, worried by Nigeria,s economic travails, he initiated Paris and London club refunds to Nigeria, a very intricate legal advocacy that brought in a humongous sum of $20billion naira as refunds to Nigeria.
Due to the positive result gained in this process, states and local governments in Nigeria were able to pay backlog of salaries and emoluments owed their workers. It is also on record that Nigeria was able to escape recession as a result of this patriotic gesture championed by his company, LINAS INTERNATIONAL.

It was also a fact that Ned is still vigorously supporting the eradication of Malaria from the face of Africa. His symbolic exploration to the Antarctica actually kick started the search for a malaria vaccine that will deal a mortal blow to the dreaded malaria scourge.
As a member of the House of Representatives between 1999and 2003,he played a very important role in the formation of the EFCC and ICPC and also initiated the WHISTLEBLOWER system in tracking crime and criminals.

He recently collaborated with other Senators like f Senators Joel Onowakpo- Thomas and Ede Dafinone, who are from Delta State to wade into the troubling arrest and military detention of the monarch of Ewu Kingdom, HRM Clement Ikolo and secured his release.

He is a Senator from Delta North Senatorial District, and not from Delta Central, neither does he has any relationship with the Ewu kingdom monarch. But he engaged his time, his contacts and helped to secure his release.
In a well attended town hall meeting in Orchid Hotel Asaba on the 3rd of April, 2024, the Senator reeled out a compendium of his stewardship to his elated constituents .

Amongst his many accomplishments were, his giant strides towards ensuring that the Okpai IPP was upgraded to 980MV with a capacity to supply electricity to the whole of Delta North. He further informed his constituents of his efforts at revitalizing the Ogwashi Uku dam which he facilitated decades ago to provide water for Ogwashi Uku and several other adjoining communities in Delta North Senatorial district.

He revealed of a proposed dam in Idumuje Ugboko, one of the communities in Delta North, a project already captured in the 2024 National budget.

In another development he said his attention was caught by a publication highlighting environmental pollution allegedly caused by a coal mining company in Aniocha North.
As an environmentalist and the vice chairman of the senate committee on environment, I am deeply committed to addressing environmental issues. I held a meeting with the mining company and also visited the communities affected by the issue as well as the mining site at Ugboba. Stressing that he had meetings with local leaders, kings and various stakeholders of the communities – Ukwunzu, Ugboba and Obomkpa, where he made it clear that experts would be sent to assess the alleged pollution. If pollution is confirmed, the company must undertake corrective measures under my close supervision to ensure compliance and effective resolution. Thus far, everything is proceeding smoothly. He said he was glad to had successfully enhanced and further strengthened the peaceful relationship between the host communities and the mining company.
