Nwaoboshi, Returns Home, Turns Local Politician
A former PDP Senator, who later decamped to the APC, Peter Nwaoboshi, of the Delta North extraction, has indirectly returned home to start playing local politics.
Since coming back home, he has visited various bukas,local food sellers and some persons in Ibusa, his home town in Oshimili North Local Government Area, Delta State.
Some Oshimili North people that spoke to ZN, said that who ever told Nwaoboshi, when he was swagging in various public office positions he was holding, that one day he would have something to do with the locals and the poor, he would look at the person that said it to be insane.
Today, the proud and arrogant Nwaoboshi is the one seeking the locals, the poor and those he abandoned when he was carried away by power.
Stating further the Oshimili North people said that nobody stays on top forever. They advised other public office holders and those in positions not to be carried away by arrogance because of the positions they are holding. Only one thing remains constant, that is change.
They told ZN that, it could be recalled that Nwaoboshi, while holding public office was so arrogant, heartless and wicked, that he used his position to suppress the masses and never remembered that one day he would no more be in the position. Today Nwaoboshi, who used to travel in private chartered jets, now travels in economic class of public passengers’ jet. What an irony of life for a man that made himself a thin god like Pharaoh Agrippa in the bible, because he was opportune to be in a position.
According to those that spoke to ZN from Oshimili North, they revealed that Nwaoboshi, lost his highest public office position after woefully being defeated by Ned Nwoko, at the last Senatorial election.
They confirmed that the visits that were being carried out now by Nwaoboshi, was for him to be reintegrated into the fold of those he abandoned to enable him have a structure to contest the 2027,election, because his former structure has collapsed, due to the selfish ways of his life living.
In another development the Delta North Elites have petitioned, that President Tinubu Ahmed should not give any public position to Nwaoboshi, who worked against him.
It was on record that before the APC Presidential primary election he worked for Godwin Emefiele, the immediate past Governor of Central Bank, who earlier signified interest for the number one national lucrative position whom he allegedly collected millions of dollars from and later diverted his loyalty to Ahmed Lawan, who was the Senate President
