THE CARING MIND OF OUR LORD

Needless to admit that our God knows our situations, good or bad. He recognized our predicaments in life, and the astonishing thing is that he never leaves us in these situation but comes with his helping hand to attend to us, to ameliorate, to raise us from our difficult problems and attend to us fully.

The gospel of today details how he observed the crowd who had stayed with him for some days and noticed their hunger and went ahead without their permission to attend to them by proving food for them.

In the same manner, Jesus attends to our problems and solves them before ever we call upon him. Our calling upon him is more or less an expression of our faith and commitment to him.

We must always recognize that our God is interested in our problems, he knows our situation whether good or bad. And he is ever ready to intervene for our good and wellbeing.

Let us never be like King Jeroboam who sought the help of other gods and erected altars for other gods and worship them because of adversities and confusions. We must learn how to hold fast to our God in thick and thin, in good and bad situations, in very despicable situations. God is always there and waiting to lift his helping hand to raise us from our difficulties and problems. Hold on to him and look up always to him, keep him close to you and never depart from his presence. He is abundantly able to help and take care of all situations in our lives.

Heavenly Father, thank you for your guiding hand, your grace which surpasses all our problems. Grant us deeper faith. Help us to always commit all our lives situations into your hands for your guidance, blessings and leadership for you know us better than we know ourselves and you know our needs more that we know. Continue to provide our needs and supply for our wellbeing and our salvation through Christ Jesus our Lord.
